About EFT and Mindfulness


Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)  is a powerful technique that helps eliminate painful emotions, physical pain and psychological problems by tapping on certain parts of the body. .  It  can help just about everyone to achieve genuine freedom from the emotions that have created problems in their lives. EFT helps to restore balance in the energy field and can rapidly resolve many psychological and emotional problems. It comes from kinesiology and works on the principle that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system. It has helped people almost miraculously with a broad range of difficulties. New or old emotional upsets can often be released in minutes, their results are usually long lasting, and side effects are almost always positive. 
 
During an EFT session you focus on the problem and say it out loud whilst either you or I tap on certain points around your face and upper body whilst fully clothed. The tapping routine takes about 1-2minutes to apply and is completely safe. Depending on the complexity, most issues respond after a few sessions and you’re left with a logical understanding or a rational response to the problem ….and it rarely returns. EFT has been shown in studies and clinical trials to help with anxiety, trauma, stress, phobias, weight loss, fears, grief, addiction, depression and even reduce the intensity of pain and side effects of cancer treatment.
