Accredited EFT Training Pathway.....

WHAT MAKES ME QUALIFIED TO TEACH YOU?

As a brief intervention that can be self-applied, EFT tapping is now backed by more than 100 randomised clinical trials (the most accepted form of research).  Praised by Bessel van der Kolk and demonstrated by Peter Levine to help with trauma,  EFT is becoming popular within the NHS and around the world by medical and mental health professionals.  It can be integrated into counselling practices or as a stand alone therapeutic tool.   

Outcome from a recent study:  "...This study adds to the evidence base for EFT as an effective mental health intervention, as has been demonstrated in many previous studies. It also suggests that EFT simultaneously improves a broad range of health markers across multiple physiological systems. As hypothesized, participants experienced significant decreases in pain, anxiety, depression, and PTSD....".  

EFT PROGRESSION ROUTE UP TO EFT MASTER TRAINER OF TRAINER 
Briefly, the route is 
  1. FOUNDATION (LEVEL 1)
  2. INTERMEDIATE (LEVEL 2) LEADING TO PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION
  3. ADVANCED (LEVEL 3) LEADING TO ADVANCED PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION
  4. MASTER TRAINER LEVEL

COURSE CONTENT

1. FOUNDATION (LEVEL 1)
This is a one day course designed to introduce you to the basics of EFT. At the end of this course, you will be able to use EFT on yourself and practice on family and friends on very small issues only. 

2. INTERMEDIATE PRACTITIONER LEVEL (2)
If you are interested in using EFT on others in a professional capacity or may want to in the future, then you will need to have a Practitioner Certificate. 
To become certified, you will need to fulfil the following criteria within 12months. If you haven’t been able to complete your Practitioner status, you will be asked to attend a refresher course.  
  1. Submit minimum of 3 case studies consisting of 3 sessions on 3 different clients to be submitted in either audio, written or video format or a mix. (Your Trainer will indicate which format). Mandatory
  2. Sign up as a Student Member of the www.eftandmindfulness.com/join Mandatory
  3. Access the Online EFT test from the Member Area on the top right of the website. Full instructions are given before you begin and you may save the test and go back at a later date.  Mandatory
  4. Engage in a additional practical EFT sessions working with other experienced or student Practitioners.  This could include some of the exercises used in the training course. This can also take place during Supervision. (Optional)
  5. When you have completed your Trainer’s criteria, you will be invited to a 1:1 post case study review session via Zoom or face to face where you will have the chance to ask questions and your Trainer will determine whether you are competent to be awarded Intermediate Practitioner status.  (Optional)
  6. Completion of the Core Curriculum Document to confirm all teaching points have been covered, an understanding of what has been taught and be able to put into practice the core elements of the EFT training.  Trainers can add to this document. (optional)

3. ADVANCED PRACTITIONER (LEVEL 3)
To become certified, you will need to fulfil the following criteria within 12months. If you haven’t been able to complete your Practitioner status, you will be asked to attend a refresher course.

After Advanced level training you are eligible to work towards your EFT Master Trainer qualification. You will be expected to have gained considerable experience in using EFT and preferably have experience of assisting or presenting EFT topics.  

4. EFT MASTER TRAINER COURSE
These will be advertised on the website.  When choosing a Trainer, please make sure that they are teaching you the EFT and Mindfulness Centre syllabus and curriculum.  
  • The Course is approximately 25hrs in length (including assignments etc).   The course content itself of approx. 15hrs can be delivered in a classroom setting over several days.  The online version comprises of six modules of approximately 2-2.5hrs duration each and can be delivered via Zoom or similar platform.
  • At the end of each Module there will be an assignment.  You will be sent out the assignment as soon as you have completed each Module.
  • You will be asked to assist on an EFT training course
  • Students will be asked to submit a recording of themselves delivering 3 different EFT topics. 
  • One all criteria have been met, your Trainer will then notify [email protected] and you will be awarded a Master Trainer certificate and a Certification of Accreditation by the EFT and Mindfulness Centre.
